Have you ever craved a cookie that consisted of an ingredient combination you thought was unheard of? In the baking world, nothing really is unheard of when it comes to personal taste. Let your imagination run wild and free! Sure the cookie, once it’s created my not taste the way you thought, or not good at all, but at least you would know. Don’t knock it, until you try it! I have experimented with toffee and coconut, different combinations of chocolate and even spices. Whoa, spices? Yes, sometimes to give an extra kick or to compliment flavours, certain spices, in small amounts, can play a huge roll. I encourage each and every one of you to let your taste buds and creativity take a huge roll in your baking, even if it means adding a new ingredient or replacing one or two in a already loved recipe.
