My most favourite baker and innovator is Monique, creator of blog Divas Can Cook. She is creative, stylish and is one heck of a chef. Her easy to follow recipe guides and tutorials make cooking and baking good tasting food so attainable. I also love that many of the recipes published on her blog are good old-fashioned favourites, that have her own creative spin, either on ingredients or technique.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies

Serves: Makes 3 dozen

Ingredients

            2 cups all-purpose flour

            ½ teaspoon salt

            ½ teaspoon baking powder

            ⅛ teaspoon baking soda

            10 tablespoons butter, softened

            1 cup white sugar

            4 ounces cream cheese, softened

            1 teaspoon vanilla extract

            1 egg, room temperature

            1 cup white chocolate chips, chopped

            1 cup frozen raspberries, chopped

            CREAM CHEESE GLAZE

            4 oz cream cheese softened

            ½ cup powdered sugar

            4-6 teaspoons milk, may need more
